AGI CEO Paul Graziani earns top Workforce honors at AvWeek’s Laureate Awards

Last night, Aviation Week and Space Technology awarded AGI’s CEO and co-founder, Paul Graziani, top honors for workforce excellence at the 2012 Laureate Awards in Washington, D.C. The awards recognized Graziani and AGI for our unique work environment (free food, on-site laundry, gym and oil changes … to name a few) that drives creativity and excellence. AvWeek also cited AGI’s commitment to STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) outreach.

Our active STEM education includes events such as Space Day and Techies Day, Federation of Galaxy Explorers team sponsorship and our far-reaching Educational Alliance Program, which provides worldwide eligible academic institutions with free use of our software. Other companies even use our software to teach complex concepts to tomorrow’s engineers.

Following the award, Paul sent this message to his employees: “Now that Av Week has recognized us in this way, we are even more obligated to keep doing what we can to promote STEM to young people. It’s our responsibility to the kids and to our future!”

AGI’s augmented reality app, Satellite AR, was also a finalist in the software category of Aviation Week’s Innovation Challenge.
