NIMIQ 6 launch

A Proton-M launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome on Thursday at 3:12 p.m. EDT carrying the Nimiq 6 satellite to orbit. Nimiq 6 is a Canadian telecommunication satellite.

The NORAD catalog (or SSC) number for this satellite is 38342 and will be available in the STK satellite database shortly. To stay update-to-date on the latest launches subscribe to AGI’s Launch Notifications.
