NOAA to participate in the Space Data Association’s Space Data Center
Great news for the Space Data Association (SDA), which announced today that the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) will be using its services, including the AGI-built and operated Space Data Center. NOAA is the first governmental satellite operator to participate in the Space Data Center, which provides full conjunction assessment (CA) capability and is developing data-sharing in support of radio frequency interference (RFI) mitigation. The Center provides CA processing for more than 65% of all operational satellites in geosynchronous Earth orbit (GEO).
