Space situational awareness news featuring STK

STK has been getting some press lately. The June 4 article “The economics of space sustainability” in The Space Review focuses on the issue of human-generated space debris in orbit and the risk it poses to active satellites. Author Brian Weeden uses STK graphics to literally illustrate his argument.

Earlier this spring, an article in Defense Tech Briefs about the Air Force Satellite Control Network architecture discussed STK as a suggested architecture component for link geometry support.

Finally, the Space Foundation’s Space Report 2012 recently hit shelves. This overview of major global space developments features a number of STK images, and is a must-have for space enthusiasts.
